Day 10 : El Jem & Sousse

Leave Djerba through the ferry
Arrive to El Jem and enjoy Mid-day lunch
Visit the Roman coliseum and the archeological museum
Head to Sousse and settle in your hotel
Visit the famous Port El Kantaoui and enjoy a free time to stroll and admire the mediterranean sea

Day 11: Sousse and Hammamet

After lunch, your adventure continues in Sousse as you explore its old medina, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988, and certainly a must-see for any heritage enthusiast.
Discover its mosque, which displays a martial appearance with its imposing minaret shaped like a dungeon, and whose ramparts are still largely visible today.
Visit the Archaeological Museum of Sousse, which houses the second-largest collection of mosaics after that of the Bardo, to learn more about the history of the region.
After lunch, head to Hammamet. Explore the old medina of Hammamet, renowned for its charming atmosphere.
Take some free time for your stroll and spend your night in Hammamet.

Day 12: Hammamet and Return to Tunis

Breakfast at your hotel.
Continue your exploration of the old Medina and admire the treasures of Tunisian architecture from the 15th century. It’s nice to get lost in the alleys of the old town, which offer a bit of coolness during the summer. Of course, do not forget to bring back local souvenirs such as a Chéchia (traditional hat), a Foula (blanket), or ceramics.
Visit the Kasbah of Hammamet dating back to the 13th century. This Arab fortress, with its museum, retraces the glorious hours of the city. You can also enjoy a superb panorama of the Medina.
The Grand Mosque of Hammamet, dating from the 15th century, located in the heart of the Medina.
A few kilometers from the historic center of Hammamet, the ruins of Pupput will immerse you in the 5th century BC. Alternating between a Roman necropolis and a Byzantine citadel, the ruins are now a good way to delve into Tunisian history.
After this array of visits, head back to the capital, Tunis.
