Tour Description  :

the 2 days quad ride in the desert is a tour full of adrenaline especially for adventure lovers!
Cross the tracks in 4 * 4 to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane or you will conquer the sand dunes by quad!

At star take the time to swim in the natural water spray. Have a good lunch and then, follow your guide between stony tracks and high sand dunes. Visit the famous Ksar of Tisavar nestled in the middle of the desert and head towards the Zmela camp (arround 27 Km from the departure point)

Spend a night under a berber tent and enjoy a strarry sky.

Full Description :

Day 1

At 7am our driver will pick you up from your hotel to start the adventure!
Head to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane crossing the lunar landscapes of Beni Khadech.
On arrival, take the time to bathe in the natural hot spring (25 ° all year round). stroll through the oasis then enjoy a good lunch.
After the meal, take your quad and follow the guide for an afternoon 100% adrenaline! Drive between stony tracks and large sand dunes to the Zmela camp located about 27 km.
On arrival, take your tent and settle in but do not miss the moment of sunset!
Around 7 p.m., attend a demonstration of the preparation of sand bread (bread baked under the sand and the embers) then enjoy a good dinner and an evening around the fire!
Dinner and night in a tent under the stars

Day 2

Try to wake up early to watch the sunrise, eat breakfast and then follow your guide back to the starting point.
On arrival your driver will be waiting for you for lunch!
After the meal, head to visit the magnificent Ksar Hallouf before returning to the island of Djerba

Good To Know :

 

  • The level of the hike is high: it is not recommended for people with back problems, legs … etc.
  • Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and sunglasses
  • It is best to wear walking shoes
  • Tunisian cuisine is quite spicy, if you don’t eat spicy, please let us know.
  • If you have food allergies, please let us know.
  • Do not hesitate to take pocket money if you want to buy some souvenirs (sand roses, a cheche or others) or give tips
  • The price of drinks on site are around 3 dinars per drink (around 1 euro)
